Typical summertime waterspout that danced with the ocean for over 20 minutes near the famous seven mile bridge in the #FloridaKeys. A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water. They are connected to a towering cumulonimbus cloud. Waterspouts form mostly in the tropics and subtropical areas. The Florida Keys statistically reports more waterspouts than anywhere else in the world and is known as the "Waterspout capital of the World". Photo by Mike Theiss @ExtremeNature
