#selflovesaturday 69 weeks ago I posted a gram (yes I went back and looked because I'm a dork ;)) about a #TrendSchool report. They found that 70% of adolescent girls want to be viewed as STRONG, not skinny. It made my heart happy. That so many of us are beginning to value our bodies are they ARE, not as we think they should be. That our ultimate goal is becoming stronger in our individual bodies, rather than wanting them all to look the same. We come in all different shapes and sizes for a reason. Different is unique, and unique is beautiful. I wanted to share how I'M focusing on my strength, pushing myself to break through plateaus, with the help of my babe Jessie @pts_Chicago. This torturous/amazing exercise is called a #negative. It helps boost strength, break plateaus that come from getting into routine, and stimulates muscle growth. Having a hard time getting from 10 chins to 11? Whelp. Have someone force you do to these.
