For #internationalwomensday we can celebrate the amazing work our patron and ambassador who has achieved in the conservation and advocacy of #orangutans Dr Birutė Galdikas moved to #Borneo in 1971 to study orangutans, over 40 years later she is still there carrying out research, conservation and rehabilitation. She set up #orangutanfoundationinternational #ofi as well as the #oficareandquarantinecentre where she helps rehabilitate orangutans and release them back into the wild.
