It's #MuseumWeek on Twitter but we have a juicy secret that's too good not to share elsewhere. These plaster reproductions of European works were once displayed here at the Brooklyn Museum, as was common practice for American museums at the time. When showing reproductions of works fell out of favor, these sculptures mysteriously disappeared.
