So here's the close-up shot of the bake I posted this morning! Not a sponge cake nor a true Castella. It's a Half Baked Castella Cake 半熟カステラケーキです! A cake that is baked to precise timing for the golden semi-liquid goo in the center and thus the name "半熟" ? like 黄金熔岩 Not a common cake yet in Sg but has been around for years in Japan. Sweet, eggy and very yummy (sorry for being thick skin ?) of course there is plenty of room for improvement but still hehehe...... #dairycreamkitchen
