A man carries a young child on Ifira Island, where an #immunization team from Port Vila, #Vanuatu’s capital, has come by boat to vaccinate children. Six teams, comprised of trained health workers and medical personnel have been mobilized to vaccinate children during the ‘10,000 in 10’ #immunization campaign currently under way in the country. The campaign, launched by the Ministry of Health with support from #UNICEF, aims to immunize 10,000 children 6 to 59 months of age against #measles and rubella, in 21 villages over a period of 10 days.. during the campaign.
