Around this time last year, I ventured up to British Columbia to watch the black bears as they emerged from their dens. This was the largest of the 14 bears we found. We got to watch him as he ate, more like mowed, some grass under the shadow of the Coastal Range. Yesterday, I started the morning with a grizzly bear and in the afternoon got an amazing treat of seeing a bison calf, who was under 24 hours old. I was really hoping to share some new photos from yesterday, but I want to wait till I get some better and closer shots of the little critters! #blackbears #wildlife #bears #britishcolumbia #bc #spring #jacksonhole
