Today New Zealand Rugby is joining New Zealanders and Australians in marking the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landing at Gallipoli during the First World War and in particular the service in all conflicts of those involved with rugby in New Zealand and those players, coaches, refs, administrators and supporters who lost their lives.

As a mark of respect, there will be no rugby played in New Zealand today before 1pm and Club teams playing after 1pm will have a moment’s silence before kickoff. There will also be respectful tributes before tonight’s Crusaders v Blues @superrugbynz match.
