This month at #targetfirstsaturday, we celebrate the work of #KehindeWiley, whose larger-than-life paintings feature people of color striking art-historical poses amid ornate floral backgrounds. We'll be kicking off the night with @chargaux, a classically trained artist duo whose lush compositions will make you feel like you've stepped into one of Wiley’s paintings. @ニュー・ミュージアム・オブ・コンテンポラリー・アート Triennial darling, @julianahuxtable will also be here spinning industrial, gritty and futuristic beats. Finally, the self-proclaimed “dark rapper, dark villain, dark lord of the fashion world" @zebrakatz will rap (?) up the night.
