Moses, pictured here at 1 month old, had already surmounted incredible odds when he was born. The wide-eyed boy came dangerously close to death five months ago when he was still in the womb of his mother, Isatu Mansaray, who had contracted #Ebola. “When they told me I was positive for Ebola, I was not happy, and my whole family was worried,” Isatu said. “I felt cold and I had pain all over my body. My eyes changed colour. I was worried that my baby would get Ebola from me.” But Isatu survived and Moses was born, testing negative for the virus.
