Happy birthday to #KeithHaring, born today in 1958. In 1989, the artist welcomed students from the Guggenheim's education residency program #LearningThroughArt (LTA) to his downtown studio loft. Haring bonded with students by talking candidly about his work and showing paintings in progress. For more than 40 years, LTA has served more than 100,000 students from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds in all five boroughs of New York City. Works from this year’s students are currently on view in "A Year with Children 2015" through June 17.
