I recently led two back-to-back National Geographic photography workshops, "Wyoming's Cowboy Country" in Dubois, Wyoming, one of my favorite places on this planet. These workshops offer myriad photographic opportunities, every classic western scene you can imagine. Each workshop runs a week and on the Saturday evening between the two events I drove to the top of the Dubois Overlook, curious as to how the beautiful panorama would be impacted by the strong afternoon storm that was passing through. The sun was just emerging from below the shelf of storm clouds, minutes before settling below the horizon. And then this incredible rainbow emerged. Shot with Olympus E-M1 and 7-14mm.
