Seriously just had one of my best days ever in the mountains today with @adrianballinger and @jimwmorrison. We hiked to the edge of the glacier to drop a load of gear, roped up, skinned up to lower camp 1 on Makalu at 6150 meters (about 20,200ft), clicked into our skis, and made some low angle turns on great corn back down. It was simple and mellow but holy sh*t I just got to slide on snow at over 6000 meters on the 5th tallest peak in the world!!
