Local porters on the move en route to the small settlement of Yangri Kharka. This region of the Nepali Himalaya is far less developed than the Khumbu, making for more rugged trails, less human settlements, and creating a more remote experience with unparalleled beauty. We've now reached 3600 meters of elevation, up from just 400 a few days ago. Basecamp is getting closer everyday and today we finally saw some blue and felt a bit of sunshine. #SkiMakalu2015 #ComeVisitNepal @ザ・ノースフェイス
