In a cave 100 yards underground near Johannesburg, South Africa scientists have discovered extensive remains of what they say is a previously unknown human species. So far, the researchers have extracted 1,550 bone fragments belonging to about 15 individuals in what is likely the largest single discovery of early human remains in Africa.
