My entry for Kuretake's Inktober Contest for their October 2nd theme: make it shine. I was inspired by one of my favourite quotes by Maya Angelou that has been resonating for quite awhile as I've been facing fears and change through storms and seemingly dark tunnels only to discover that when it felt the scariest, the light inside my heart was kindling all the while only to shine its brightest in the darkest of times. And suddenly the weight of the torrents dissipated like mirages and it was no longer a grueling journey but the beginning of the adventure I had always been waiting for. ✨ #KuretakeInktober #Inktober #USA
