Was pleased to meet Chinese Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli again. We last met in Nanning, Guangxi, a year ago. We had a good discussion on our bilateral cooperation, particularly the proposed 3rd G-to-G project in China’s western region, and the upgrade to our free trade agreement.

This year is the 25th anniversary of our diplomatic relations with China. Our close ties are anchored by mutual understanding and respect, shared interests and strong people-to-people ties. Looking forward to President Xi Jinping’s state visit in November. - LHL (MCI Photo by Kenji Soon)
