"It was a Friday night, the weather was perfect and I was in a great mood, then I turned a corner and saw the venue I had to shoot in. The line of people waiting to go in was down the block and just around the corner. This was going to be some night. I walked in anxiously awaiting for #JamieNCommons to start the show. I wasn’t sure what kind of view I’d get considering there wasn’t special press access and I am only 5’3”, shorter than most attendees. Then I discovered that the audience was unlike most audiences, they allowed me to weave my way through the front, back, sides and center easily. But that could’ve been because the audience was enthralled, in a trance as he sang. His voice was deep and raspy, strong and bluesy. People were really into it. Swooning and swaying."
