The recent terror attacks in Paris, Ankara and elsewhere remind us that the terrorist threat affects all of us. Naturally we discussed this at the G20 Leaders’ Summit, besides global issues like climate change, economic growth, and skills and training.
ISIS is believed to have perpetrated the Paris attacks. Southeast Asia is a key recruiting ground for ISIS. Hundreds from Indonesia and Malaysia have travelled to Syria to join the fighting, and a few from Singapore.
