photo by @Joel Sartore | Up close and personal with an Indri, the world’s largest #lemur, in the wilds of Analamazaotra Forest near Andasibe, #Madagascar. This place is world famous for its friendly Indri, who sometimes come down to eye level to feed on their favorite leaves. As ecotourism grows here to see this remarkable animal, nearby villagers who used to burn the forest for agriculture only a few years ago are now expert guides leading ecotours into the forest.
