Photo @michaelmelford Death Valley National Park, the largest NP in the lower 48 made up of 3,336,000 acres of which 3,000,00 acres are Wilderness. Also the lowest point in the USA at 282 feet below sea level. Here a wind storm blasts the sand dunes of Mesquite Flat, not far from Stovepipe Wells. In El Nino years, if there is ample rain, the wildflowers are amazing in Death Valley, usually in February and March.
