Photo: @rwmaddenphotog // These wildebeest were photographed on my 2015 Photo Safari in Tanzania. Over two million strong, they participate in the world’s largest annual migration, traversing a large circular track in the Serengeti over the period of a year.
The best time to photograph the migration is when they are moving south across the Mara River. Not swimmers, they group up by the thousands, then chaotically wade though the crocodile infested river.
