I read this morning in the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ that researchers report that ocean levels will rise an estimated 6 feet by the year 2100. The affect this will have on costal populated areas and habitats will be quite devastating. Protected places like #EvergladesNationalPark in Florida and its local fresh water residents will feel the blow hard over the next 100 years, even sooner in fact. As the salinity levels rise in the Everglades it will push these animals further north in search of fresh water, with limiting options.
