今の季節、街中で甘〜い香りがして振り返ると、この子がいる。

ちょっと種類が違うから、微妙に香りも異なるんだけど、わたしが11年間通っている#南インド では、朝マントラのチャンティングをしながらこのお花を摘んで、籠に入れて家の中の#プージャ ルーム(祭壇)で#女神 さまに祀ったりするの。だから#ジャスミン はわたしの中で、女神さまの香り。#インド では、偶像崇拝とか形の神さまではなくて、本当は姿形のない神性を、人間にとって身近な存在にするために形を与え、名前与えては、人間が喜ぶのと同じことをたくさんしてあげるの。賛美の歌(キールタン)を歌ったり、お風呂(スナーナム)に入れてあげたり、甘〜い香りのお花を捧げたり。
結局はすべての中にある神性だから…。人を喜ばせることも、神さまを喜ばせることも同じなんだよ。みんなの心の中の神さまに#ナマステ ✨??✨#HappyMonday and have a Beeeeautiful Week ahead?? Sweetness in the air, I turn around and it's Her. Jasmine. You remind me of Indian Goddesses, as we like to make offerings of this sweet tender flower to the Goddesses in our #puja room in #SouthIndia , where I have been going for 11years to practice and study #yoga .
I learned over time, that in #India we sing to our gods, we bathe them, and we offer flowers-- all the same things that would make a person happy, will make the gods #happy . We give name and form to the Infinity that is Divinity, only so that we humans may be able to feel them closer, in a more personal way. But essentially, we know, Divinity lies in all. Make a person happy; make God happy. All the same. And so they say, #Namaste - I bow to the Divinity in You.
