Photo by @andywcoleman // We found this South Maui beach during a morning run. It was a beautiful, long crescent stretch of sand with only a couple of people playing with their dogs. We decided to return for sunset and learned that this beach was no secret. There was one wedding and three other couples with wedding photographers. We were still able to find a spot photograph another great Maui sunset. We had to use a map to see that the name of this area is Palauea Beach. Palauea translates to "lazy" in ancient Hawaiian, which seems perfect for this quiet little spot.
