Building a #smartnation is a bit like cultivating bonsai. We need the right conditions, and the skill and patience to gently nudge young shoots in the right direction. :) This is why I donated some money to MOE, to set up the “Lee Hsien Loong Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Smart Nation Award” for polytechnic students. May it nudge talented and enthusiastic students to come up with creative ways of using technology to improve lives, and make us a Smart Nation.

Applications for the Award open in April 2017, so there’s plenty of time if you start working on your projects now! More details available at the PMO website (www.pmo.gov.sg).
