So you want to do a chin up? ?? Here are some exercises you can do to build strength to do the real deal ? Note: my head is moving because there's a bar above the pull up bar I had to avoid & this video is sped up 1.5x) ?? Here we go: 1️⃣ Regular chin ups (to show form) 2️⃣ Eccentric chin ups (jump up and lower down super slowly!) 3️⃣ Chin-up holds - hold yourself in a mid chin up position. Stay here as long as possible. 4️⃣ Banded chin ups - pop your knee or foot in a band and do chin ups as normal to failure ✌?️ When I was building up to doing pull ups I was doing this sort of training 2 times a week as well as other back and arm training.
