From artist @hankwillisthomas as part of his takeover of our Instagram: "#thetruthis collaboration is central to my art practice. I believe in the value of using our voice me collectively, even when we don't entirely agree. It is a form of alchemy. Over the past 5 years, @insearchofthetruth has been traveling the world as a a platform for individual expression. The 'truth' is a contentious space, yet we are all entitled to it. We may see it differently, but no one can refute another's personal truth. The participants in this project are so courageous and so generous, sharing both their wisdom and vulnerability. We just finished a year-long collaboration with @publicartfund. To date, over 6,000 people have spoken their truths. This summer, my collaborators @therealjimricks @ryanalexiev and @wilsyl will be touring the booth around the United States to get the many diverse perspectives of our nation ahead of the next Presidential election.
