If you told me few monthes ago that I would have been in this position with my knees, I would have probably grimace! Thanks to a lot of patience and weekly work since October with my physio Thibault in Montpellier, we made things much better so that I’m now able to do funky stuff with my knees again. I still have some big limits, but I’m happy to be able to climb almost free again ? ● 3 days before the World Cup in Chamonix I felt a huge pain in my ribs while climbing, and thought it would go away like a lot of pains that we got as sportsman. The night before Chamonix it still felt painful even in « common situations », but thanks to my dear friend and physio of the French Team Aurelie who spent an hour taking care of me , I was able to take the start on Monday morning and live the comp perfectly. My abs felt a little weak, but nothing worrying. ● In the 2nd qualifiers route at the World Cup in Villars, my foot slipped while my cores were really tight in the steep overhang, and I felt a big pull in my abs. On the way down I could hardly stand straight… Some treatments later with the other French Team physio Yohann, it seemed that I certainly tore my abdominal rectus and oblique muscles. After some talks with the coaches, I took the hard (but good sense) decisions to forfeit on speed qualifiers and lead semifinals ? ● Now back home to rest, work and do medical exams on Monday to find out the diagnostic. But first tonight : cheer for Salomé and Thomas during the live stream of the Finals in Villars !!!! ☆☆☆ @petzl_official @gramicci @eb_climbing @volxholds @luxov_connect @ffmontagne_escalade @ifsclimbing ? by @thecircuitclimbing
