Although days and life are the same with a new year starting (it’s just a calendar shift, right?), this symbolic change is one that put me at peace and makes me excited for what’s ahead! 2023 was a rough one, with emotional challenges that I’m grateful I overcame and learned from, and with two injuries (knee and shoulder) that happened back-to-back and put me out of skiing for the season in Utah and, more heartbreaking, out of climbing for most of the year 🤕😢 Thanks to the Universe, I could still bolt which definitely helped me stay connected to my identity as a climber. 2023 was also a year of starting a very exciting new adventure (more to come when I’m ready to share it here 😏) and of FINALLY going back to Pitumarca, Peru, which was a big highlight of the year! So yeah, I’m thrilled for this upcoming year and I wish you all the best of health, adventure and joy in your lives!
