Me and @stillfrothy Walter Cerny, Australia circa 1987 for the Pan Pacific Cup. One of the funnest trips of my life. The final day was held at Greenmount instead of DBah and was about a third the size and hugging the rocks. Worked well for me as I just pretended I had found a one foot point break in Florida. @peter_mel and I were in the men's final against two Aussies. He paddled for a wave and I was telling "No! No! No!", to him and he thought I was yelling 'Go!' so he went. Age old story. #JasonButtonshaw and #JoshPalmateer got me drunk for my first time on wine coolers of some sort and then Butto dropped in on me on the best wave I caught the whole trip at Kirra. I ate McDonalds twice or more per day for two weeks and ended up horribly ill by the end. It was the first time I had ever gone two weeks without speaking to my mom. My brother got in a fight with an older friend of ours who was a big guy. I tried punching him in the head about 5 times to stop him and I don't even think he felt it. Funny the things you remember. Still have those old videos that #BruceWalker shot while coaching us.
