Sophie is part of the Russian fox program and is genetically domesticated. The program explored the impact of selective breeding just for tameness on domestication. This program helped answer many questions as to how wolves became dogs. In addition, it helped to shed light on many human social bonding disorders and with this program, others, and the ones we will have at the center, we hope to further explore how understanding domestication can help heal humans.
Sophie, is a testament to their program. She is a very social- and verbal girl. She loves being around humans and has an amazing ability to read human body language. One thing she is very familiar with is knowing when she has misbehaved. In this video, she was mean to Ishy- and got in trouble... She was tryin to explain her behavior!
