Photo by @daviddoubilet A freediver descends into a shimmering school of sardines in Moalboal Philippines. The sardines form dense schools a few meters off shore from Panagsama Beach. This amazing pulse of life used to be found at Pescador Island a few miles away but then suddenly moved and reappeared off the village. Some hook and line fishing occurs but net fishing is not allowed. The sardines have become well known and a large attraction to divers who come from around the world to swim and dive in these thundering clouds of life.
