I wrote a post about Mazzy's first week of second grade. She's so excited about school which I am thrilled about, but I had a kinda sad realization too. When I think back to second grade (and third grade and fourth grade), my memories are of school and friends, the things that were changing and evolving and creating new lasting impressions, while my mom stayed the same.
