Photo by @KristaRossow // On the Cycladic island of Amorgos in Greece, you can climb over 300 steps to visit the cliff-clinging Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa. I didn't get a glimpse of the three monks who still live in the monastery, but I did see the smoke-blackened icon of the Virgin Mary that the monastery was built to house. On the climb down, you may not want to look down the cliffs which end abruptly in the azure Aegean Sea if you have any sort of vertigo!
