Pumas (or cougars) are amazingly adaptable and their distribution ranges all the way through the Americas from Canada to Patagonia. In the Amazon basin they coexist with Jaguars. This picture is from an expedition to Cocha Cashu biological station in Manu National Park, Peru. Our aim was to document the amazing diversity of animals that visit a fruiting fig tree deep in the Peruvian Amazon. A real adventure!
