This massive ice sheet is at the ‘end of the Earth’ and it’s just one of the areas that NASA’s Operation #IceBridge studied and artist @zarialynn documented during their flights Antarctica. Zaria Forman’s large-scale landscapes seek to capture both the grandeur and the fragility of these icy places. Each year, NASA’s #IceBridge mission flies over the same areas of Antarctica and Greenland, measuring how the ice is changing over time and what those changes mean for sea level rise.
