Been feeling a bit flat the last couple of days (I think I've been fighting a cold ?) so today I skipped my workouts to stretch and recover instead ?
I can't stress enough how important it is to understand what you body is telling you! ???
As I tell all of my #freshbodyfitmind fam, just because you are following a specific exercise program it doesn't mean you can't mould and change it to suit YOU and how you feel.

YOU MIGHT NEED AND EXTRA REST DAY when:
?? You are low on energy and generally feeling sick/unwell
?? You have repetitive or continuous nagging injuries
?? Restless sleep
?? Low motivation to exercise
?? Low mental energy and forgetfulness
.
Remember, no journey needs to be perfect..it's ok to have a bad day, extra rest, or to even fail and start again.
Be kind to yourself ✌?️
