Make peace with what is. Accepting every piece of your current circumstance is the only way to turn this seemingly random experience of life into purposeful wisdom. You were brought here because you were meant to learn these lessons, no matter how difficult, or earth shattering, or painful. Coming to terms with the fact that all of this is happening for you - not to you - is the first step toward finding true thankfulness for your past. With acceptance comes gratitude. With gratitude comes letting go. And it's through letting go that we'll stop fighting upstream and finally start working with the flow of life.
