This is a photo of the slide in Adam Yauch Park in Brooklyn Heights that was spray painted with swastikas and the words "Go Trump." Before he passed away, Adam Yauch was more commonly known as MCA from the Beastie Boys, who are all Jewish. Thankfully, the community quickly came together to have it repainted and covered with hearts. This is about more than politics. It's about human decency. I hope my readers, both the people who believe the same things I do and those who don’t, continue an open dialogue that is not about hatred but about working towards a common goal— a better future for all.
