A stick bug from the from the entomoloI'm collection of prof. Mário Fritsch at Universidade do Contestado UnC in Mafra, #Brazil.
This male is from the order of #Phasmatodea and from the #SoPaulo state in Brazil. Only the male have wings, which can't help in flight, they are only used to glide. The two flaps above the wings are vistigial (former Wings). The Bicho-Pan survives by mimicking the Guava plant that is it's home.
