Photo by @amivitale. Tatu Habibu lays dagaa, a kind of sardine, on drying racks near the shores of Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. More than 3,000 people living within @nature_africa and @pathfinderint’s Tuungane Project area are members of 13 Beach Management Units (BMUs), which were set up along the shores of Lake Tanganyika to help communities better manage their own freshwater resources.
