Raising chickens has been one of my favorite things about moving to our small farm town in Florida. I grew up in Southern California where life moved at 500mph and we never seemed to catch our breath for too long. Four years ago, we moved to Brooksville and it's been such an adventure for us. We've made time to grow a garden, raise chickens and remodel our "farm house" to feel like us. If you would have told me 10 years ago what my life would be like today, I couldn't imagine it. Yet now this is all I dream of! I am so thankful to have this right now and filled with gratitude to have a supportive and talented husband (and friends!) who makes my dreams come true. He built the raised beds, the chicken coop and did most of the remodel work himself. #madskills #hansardfarm #fuelyourpassion
