Bayer is #Germany’s top employer at present according to the “Best Employer 2017” ranking performed for “Focus” magazine by the Statista statistics institute in collaboration with the careers network Xing and the employer evaluation platform kununu. To identify Germany's top employers, the Statista market research company evaluated more than 100,000 employee responses to a one-off survey. The decisive factor was whether employees would recommend their employer. To assess this, data from Xing and kununu.com were also used. In addition, the ranking took into account employees’ feedback on other employers in their sector. The preferences for employers in each sector were counted and the top employers were selected on the basis of the frequency of recommendation.
