This week is time to introduce Brett from @lostc0llective.
One of the unique aspects of Lost Collective is the research involved behind all the shots. Brett is very committed in reaching out to people who have a living history to the places he photographs, in telling their lost personal stories that otherwise might not ever be known.
This photo was taken in the Eveleigh Paint Shop, Sydney. This carriage, known as 'The Centurion' was produced in 1913 as an end-platform car that would have started its working life under steam operation before being converted to electric in 1926. Only 186 of these carriages were converted for electric service and this particular car must have been earmarked for preservation. This image is HDR created by combining nine images that pass through the full range of exposure. Brett regularly rely on this technique for his wide-angle interior architecture shots as he likes the way it enhances the surface textures. #mynikonlife
