This was from yesterday afternoon at our local Starbucks. Sometimes I like to take my son's homework time outside the home where we can relax with some treats (cookies for him, iced coffee for me) and vibe off of the atmosphere. This excursion was nothing out of the ordinary but it means more to me than some of the more elaborate adventures. It's the simple moments, isn't it? Each night I ask my son what his favorite part about the day was and last night he said, "doing activities at the cafe and eating cookies with you." Me too. ❤ •
