I had what looked like the beginning of some chronic health issues and thankfully a happenstance session with my family's acupuncturist caught it right on time. I'm going to be on an intense healing regimen but I've mostly been given a doctor's order to take care of my heart and happiness. Isn't it interesting how sometimes a crisis is what wakes us up to what really matters? I feel so thankful to have an opportunity to get better and that for the first time in a long while, I'm giving myself permission. Permission to actually pursue dreams, to take stuff off my schedule, to say no, to say yes, to remove myself from stressors, to play more and to live my life... without apology. •
