As we watched the famous tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park in #Uganda, we marveled at their ability to maneuver in the branches and to seemingly become restful in places that didn't appear comfortable at all. Some say they climb the trees to escape the biting insects at ground level, while others speculate that they sit in the branches to cool off in the breeze. What is certain is, if you are chased by one of these lions, trying to escape by climbing a tree is probably not the wisest move. #BigCats
