I tried Beyond Life for the first time in 2011. The moves felt long and impossible. Over the past 6 years I dabbled on the climb, holding little faith in actually sending. But in the past couple sessions I figured out key beta that unlocked the one move I hadn't done. It still felt damn hard. Last week I went to Indian Creek and flailed on 1-inch finger cracks. I realized Beyond Life was easier. Today, I sent first go ? After topping out, I practiced ring-locking ? Psyched to put down a climb that's always felt hard and reach-y for me.
