I feel like most people are afraid of or just out right neglect front squats. FRONT SQUATS VS BACK SQUATS? Is a common question I get asked...

Front squats zone in on quads and upper back strength and back squats focus more on hips, glutes and lower back. -

The positive for front squats is that they force you to improve your mobility and flexibility. This may prevent injury in the long run but keep in mind you won't be able to lift heavy right off the bat. I normally lift about 50% of the weight I lift with back squats. -
